A professional acupuncturist with over 25 years’ experience, Beverley studied at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, Berkshire and the Hangjiou Hospital of Chinese Medicine in China. She holds a PhD from the University of West London for research into using acupuncture in the management of breast cancer treatment related hot flushes.

Beverley works part-time in the NHS as Researcher in Integrative Medicine at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, where for nearly 25 years she has investigated using acupuncture in the supportive care of people living with and beyond cancer. She lectures internationally, has many publications, and is the author of Acupuncture and Cancer Survivorship: Recovery, Renewal and Transformation.

A firm believer in the power of acupuncture to support cancer survivors post-treatment, and in its potential to transform lives, Beverley is delighted to be bringing this focus to Bridge to Health.
