Mathieu qualified as an osteopath with the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 and previously worked as a business consultant for 15 years. He founded Bridge to Health in 2007.

He first experienced osteopathy as a patient with spinal and sports injuries. 

Mathieu views osteopathy as a close healing partnership between osteopath and patient and uses a broad range of treatment methods – osteopathy, massage, acupuncture, exercise, and lifestyle adjustments – to promote prompt and lasting health improvements. 

He is particularly interested in helping patients overcome the challenges of sedentary jobs and lifestyle to build strong resilient health.

Mathieu and his wife have four children, but he still finds the time to exercise an hour a day and prepare his own salad for lunch!
