An irony not lost on us as osteopaths is that professionals working in the current economic climate are more pressurised than ever before, more likely to suffer from stress-related aches and pains, and less able or inclined to take time off and seek advice. This scenario ultimately results in poor productivity or days lost due to preventable causes of "sickness".

In a bid to break this deadlock, we are offering local businesses free in-house health consultation sessions.

The general idea is that a fully qualified osteopath comes into the organisation's workplace for a couple of hours – often during lunch hours, 12-2pm – to see employees who have pre-booked an appointment with us.

For each employee, the osteopath will then conduct a 15 minute session including

• A case and health history overview,
• A focused examination,
• Advise on the most helpful course of action (be it osteopathy or medical investigation)

If osteopathy is suggested, we can then explain what osteopathy is and how it can help. Regardless of the outcome, there is no obligation on the employee to book further sessions with Bridge to Health. We also offer a discount scheme for an organisation's employees.

A minimum of 6 pre-booked appointments per free session is requested.
