Posture Workshops

Posture at Work Training Workshops

Health and Safety audits often struggle to demonstrate a link between office layout improvements and decreases in workplace injuries or days lost due to ill health.

The reason is that human beings will, all equal, lapse into harmful postural habits regardless of world-class ergonomics. To achieve change and success, we must change professionals’ understanding of the health risks associated with poor posture at work, and equip them to manage their posture more effectively.

Our practical Posture at Work workshop aims to equip your employees with the following skills and benefits…

  • Understand the effects of poor work posture on their body and health;
  • Memorise and implement a simple set of good postural habits;
  • Acquire a few practical exercises at home and work that limit the risk of postural injury;
  • Adopt some simple lifestyle habits that reduce the incidence of postural stress; and more generally
  • Reduce levels of work-related stress and increase physical energy throughout the day.

Overall, we aim to minimise your company’s exposure to accident claims and optimise its ergonomics investment.

Workshop fees start at £250 and work on a sliding scale dependent on the number of sessions required.
