Back Pain
The root causes of back pain are numerous, and may be due to direct - e.g. local muscle strain, vertebral facet dysfunction, disc prolapse... - or indirect factors - e.g. ankle, knee or shoulder injuries.
Depending on the case, our priority as osteopaths is to identify the body tissues causing the symptoms - muscles, ligaments, joints etc.
We then focus on alleviating your symptoms through a combination of osteopathic treatment, therapeutic massage, musculoskeletal acupuncture and remedial exercise advice.
