Introducing Andrew Brenard

After many dead-end routes of underdelivering therapies and self-help books he stumbled across ‘The Thrive Programme’. The results he achieved were incredible, and he was inspired to change his career so he could teach people the same life-changing skills.

What do you most love about your job?
I love seeing the positive changes in my clients as they progress through the course! For me, the changes are very predictable, but yet I never get bored of hearing how my clients achieved something they never thought they could do a few weeks ago. In addition, every part of the course is empowering, interactive and positive. How could you not enjoy an experience like that?
Why did you retrain to become a Thrive consultant?
I committed to undertaking The Thrive Programme five years ago and witnessed first-hand what it can do. I was very sceptical at the start and wasn’t sure what to expect. However, within six weeks I had made significant and lasting changes in my life and I knew exactly how I had done it. I had trained my mind to think in a different way and had a ‘mental toolkit’ at my disposal for the rest of my life. My self-esteem and confidence had shot right up, and has since stayed there. I wanted to teach these skills to others and build a successful business around that key focus.
What has been your most rewarding experience in work to date?
I have had so many it’s hard to pick one out. One trainee does stand out though. Her original objective was to overcome a sudden and impactful family event. Her self-esteem was rock bottom and her anxiety was out of control. I worked with her and through her own hard-work, she completely turned her life around in just a few weeks. Not only did she eradicate her anxiety and increase her self-esteem massively, she also got over her crippling fear of the dentist (she hadn’t been for 16 years). To top it all off she began sleeping for 8 or more hours a night. She hadn’t slept more than 2-3 hours a night for 30 years previously.
What do you like most about being part of the Bridge to Health team?
The professionalism and sense of community at `Bridge to Health` is second to none. My journey to being one of the team actually began with me being a client and seeing Sian for osteopathic treatment. I was so impressed with the treatment I received, and the business as a whole, that I enquired further about offering my services at the Uxbridge clinic. I am now excited and proud to be part of Mathieu`s incredible team and look forward to upholding the well-established reputation for excellence.
Finally, what is your top health tip?
Give yourself time to relax and unwind. It may sound trivial but it’s fundamental. Working 60 hours a week, rushing around and looking at your phone every 10 seconds is very likely to make you constantly stressed. In our fast-paced society, it is incredibly important to not only create down-time but to also enjoy it.
It's not always about getting stuff done.
