Welcome to the January / February 2019 newsletter
This year we have decided to adopt one overarching theme for our newsletter which is “Health as a journey.”
Typically, every new year begins with virtuous and energetic resolutions to kick-start the “new me”. Unfortunately, all too often, such resolve and efforts fizzle out as the weeks progress. It is therefore important to take the longer-term view, and adopt an approach that is considered, considerate, realistic and effective.
The best place to start may in fact be to examine why good resolutions fail to materialise, or indeed peter out! To investigate that, this newsletter focuses on looking at the barriers to getting started on the journey to health and how to lower, and overcome, them. Our therapists draw on their experiences – including that of failure – to help equip you with the insights needed to make 2019 a cornerstone for long-term rude health.
