Adam Mohammed, Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist
What do you most love about your job?
I love that it improves the wellbeing and health of people, by applying my expertise and efforts to help people. Building client relations is great as well because you learn as much about yourself as you do others. Being able to provide massage therapy has made me understand the body in more depth which makes me get better at my craft each time I do a session.
Why did you train to become a Massage Therapist?
I want to offer the full package. I do personal training, football coaching and I’m also DSE qualified. This allows me to provide more skills in my work - and massage therapy is a great way to interact with people and provide recovery methods to enhance their wellbeing and performance.
What has been your most rewarding experience in work to date?
It has to be when I apply massage therapy to people and, after the session, they feel relaxed, more mobile and reap all the benefits of a massage. I can sit back and say it was a job well done.
What do you like most about being part of the Bridge to Health team?
Bridge to Health is a great clinic, the team are very welcoming and I can sense that great work is put in by the team as the clients are happy each time they walk out.
Finally, what is your top health tip?
“It is a shame for a person to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”- Socrates. I use this quote and you can apply it to your own life to push for excellence in any area. Build your mental and physical state and surprise yourself with how much you can achieve.
