Registered Counsellor / Psychotherapist

Specialism: Counselling / Psychotherapy

Whatever you might be going through, whether it be something specific - a recent loss, relationship difficulties, feeling depressed, stressed or anxious - or a more general sense of sadness or dissatisfaction, therapy can help you discover ways of better managing difficult feelings, and finding a way forward.
I provide a supportive, non-judgmental and confidential space where we can reflect together on things that are happening for you. I work with you to explore your experiences in order to better understand who you are and support you to find greater fulfilment in life. This in turn can help to create better relationships and support you to move away from negative thoughts and behaviours.
I am experienced in helping people who have had difficulties with a wide range of emotional concerns, including:

Child related issues
Cultural issues
Financial worries
Health related issues
Post-traumatic stress
Pregnancy related issues
Sex-related issues
Women's issues
Work related issues

As a Humanistic therapist, I use different models and techniques to support you. Your experiences are unique to you and we will work together to explore them at your own pace. I believe that all people have the innate ability to grow and change and to achieve their full potential. For me therapy is about creating the right conditions for each individual to get in touch with that potential.

I am a fully insured registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and am bound by its ethical framework for good practice. I offer long-term or time-limited therapy depending on your requirements.
