Pilates is a form of mindful movement that can truly change a person's life. Practising Pilates helped me to improve my posture and manage my back pain after an injury and has definitely improved my health and given me a better quality of life since then. My personal experience of the positive effects Pilates can have on both body and mind has given me a passion for this type of positive change and eventually inspired me to train as a Pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates.I find great joy in teaching Pilates and spreading the awareness of how mindful movement can change lives for the better. So for whatever reason you might be considering Pilates - strengthening your core, improving your posture, managing back pain, rehab to recover from an injury, improving your stamina to support your sports activities - I believe Pilates is for everybody!
