Mathieu Rossano BSc (Hons) Ost Med DO ND
Mathieu first experienced osteopathy as a patient recovering from an accident requiring significant spinal surgery. He is therefore well-placed to empathise with patients, understand what it takes to heal and recommend ways of managing pain.
Mathieu worked for fifteen years as a business consultant, managing the European and Asian division of a US consulting firm. He can readily identify with the pressures and stress facing many of his patients, and can share perspective and work-life strategies as well as relieve pain symptoms.
Mathieu views osteopathy as an active partnership between the patient and therapist, where education, ownership and empowerment play a significant role in fostering the patients’ short-term healing process, but also in engaging in successful longer term health and life management.
Mathieu’s vision is that Bridge to Health must offer its patients the key therapies that can support them in their journey from pain relief to long-term wellbeing and fitness, which may also entail looking at nutrition, mental well-being and life change.
Beyond the clinic, he believes Bridge to Health’s other mission is to export its expertise in ergonomics, stress and health management into the workplace, delivering education workshops and health assessment services “at the coal face”.
Mathieu is happily married to Valerie and they have four children. As such he has a keen interest in family health and is privileged as an osteopath in treating up to four generations of a same family!
